Scout Expectations:
The troop strongly encourages each Scout to participate in the weekly meetings and in additional activities as scheduling allows. We understand that Scouts are involved in other activities, please understand that if you are not present for certain events, some awards or advancement opportunities may pass you by.

Scouts are expected to respect the guidelines established by the Church regarding the use of their facilities and property.

Scouts are expected to behave in accordance with the Scout Oath and Law.  Scouts displaying unacceptable behavior will first be given a verbal warning by an adult leader.  If his behavior does not improve, it will be the joint decision of two adult leaders to notify parents by phone to come and pick up their boy immediately.  If this is the case, that boy will not be allowed to attend the next camp out/function without a parent also attending.

Parent Expectations:
Boy Scout Troop 35 is exclusively run by volunteers.  The work of Boy Scouting can only be successful when parents like you are able to give of their time and talents to foster the activities of Boy Scouting.  All parents wanting to help, will be required to complete Youth Protection Training (YPT).

Parents are expected to assist their son in raising money for scout expenses through participation in troop sponsored fund raising activities.
